Activity description

Challenge yourself to a rewarding skiing discipline that involves climbing and skiing on 5 different mountains around Lake Garda!

So what’s the biggest difference between ski touring and ski mountaineering? The main difference is the technical difficulty of the tour and having to apply mountaineering skills with the usage of an ice axe, crampons, harness, etc.

If you're looking for the ultimate alpine adventure, this is it. You'll get to experience the incredible nature of each mountain as you embark on this ski mountaineering excursion that'll teach you the basics!

Your 5-day course will teach you the specific techniques, strategies, and risk management in ski mountaineering. Choose from a Beginner or Advanced Ski Mountaineering Course that's suitable for experienced skiers who are looking to take their skills to the next level. You'll get to explore the rugged terrain of these staggering mountains during the duration of your winter adventure:

- Monte Baldo, a mountain range in the Italian Alps.

- The Lagorai, a mountain range in the Eastern Alps.

- Brenner Pass, a mountain pass through the Alps which forms the border between Italy and Austria.

- Monte Sarentino, a mountain located in the Sarntal Alps.

- The Maddalene, a mountain chain located in the Rhaetian Alps.

During these theory and practice courses, you’ll have two evening classes that are focused on Assessment and Risk Management, Orientation and Rescue, and Equipment Knowledge. From 7:00 - 17:00 each day, you’ll get to put these theories into practice.

For your next holiday, get your skis, crampons, and ice axes ready for this extreme winter adventure!
