Meet your guide for this full-day kayak tour in Trakai. A chance to visit some of Lithuania's most iconic landmarks from a different angle, skip the queue and opt for this small-group kayak tour. Starting with a short safety briefing and demo, learn the basic paddle strokes you'll need to travel as a team, following your local guide along the banks of Trakai National Park. A perfect combination of nature, history and adventure, explore some of the most picturesque lakes in Lithuania - paddling past the 14th century Island Castle and Uzutrakis Manor before taking a break for a taste of traditional Karaim cuisine and a chance to learn more about the area. Later, you'll get to witness the ruins of the Peninsular castle, small islands and beautiful biodiversity before reaching the charming Lake Skaistis where you'll reach the take out area. Not got a car? Opt for pick-up in Vilnius for fuss-free return transport.
Conditions
Operating from April to November, this the distance is about 11/8 km which makes 3/2-hours of active paddling - using two-seater closed deck touring kayaks (single seater on request). Please note this activity operates with a two-person minimum per tour.
