Meet your guide in the city centre for this half-day snowshoeing excursion in Neris Regional Park. Escape the city and explore fascinating scenery between deep woods, rolling hills and the Neris River - travelling to UNESCO Heritage Site Kernavė to learn about the first capital of Lithuania and its medieval culture. After kitting up with snowshoes and poles, a short transfer will drop you in Neris Regional Park where you will hike a 5km trail through the snowy woods in the Dūkšta river valley - stopping for hot tea and homemade pie. Following the natural contours of the landscape, reach the historical capital of Lithuania and learn more about this important UNESCO Heritage Site - climbing the iconic mounds that protect the archaeological site. Your return transport will be waiting to take you back to central Vilnius (approx. 45min).
Conditions
This activity operated from December - March and is suitable for most ages and abilities. Please come prepared with snow boots and winter outerwear.
