Discover the fascinating scuba diving world with these PADI Open Water diving courses in the stunning Sliema, Malta. Ages 10 and up!

Located on the eastern side of Malta, Sliema is a charming town by the sea. Thanks to its stunning coastline and unique marine life, Sliema is a must-see scuba diving destination in Malta. If you have always wanted to take the next step in scuba diving, this PADI Open Water course is what you need. 

Your course will start by meeting your divemaster in Sliema. During this course, you will learn scuba diving theory and have time to practice. This course offers 2 options, depending on your level. If you are a beginner, you can pick the first option, while certified divers can opt for the second one.

Option 1: Open Water Diver Course
Designed for beginners, this Open Water course aims to teach you the fundamentals of scuba diving from a theoretical and practical point of view. During this 3-day course, you'll dive 4 times in open waters in Sliema.  

Option 3: Advanced Open Water Diver Course
Tailored to certified divers looking to expand their knowledge and experience, this 3-day course will boost your confidence and master your skills. You'll dive 4 times in open water, exploring wrecks, and refining your buoyancy control. 

Malta's crystal-clear waters offer ideal visibility, allowing you to admire its colourful seabed. Thanks to its warm weather, you can dive all year round. At the end of both courses, you'll obtain a certificate allowing you to dive anywhere in the world (maximum depth: 18 m / 59 ft).

- Complete the e-learning course before going to the diving centre.
- Meet your instructor at Diveshack - 20 Ix-xatt Ta' Qui Si Sana, SLM3111 Tas, Tas-Sliema SLM 3111, Malta or Aquatica Diving Centre, Mosta Road, St. Paul's Bay, SPB3418, Malta.
- Briefing and equipment.
- 1 theoretical lesson and one dive per day*.
- Return to the meeting point.

*The duration of the course is 3 days. The exact itinerary will be communicated later.

 

Activity requirements

- The minimum age is 10 years old.
- Knowing how to swim is compulsory.
- You are required to complete a self-declaration medical form that your instructor will send to you once your reservation has been confirmed.

Please note you are not allowed to fly for up to 24 hours after your last dive.
