Activity description

Come aboard a sailboat with your professional skipper to discover the islets of Robert and live a unique experience in Martinique!

The Bay of Robert, located on the east coast of the incredible island of Martinique, offers you an ideal and calm stretch of water making the pleasures of sailing accessible to all. You will have the opportunity to discover a wide variety of landscapes thanks to the many islets of the Bay of Robert and its white sandy shallows, while getting to know the marine biodiversity.

In an eco-responsible approach, the spacious sailing boat Dénébola welcomes you in small groups or privatization (9 people max.) to spend a unique day with family or friends. You will have the opportunity to discover the islet Madame or the islet Chancel, known to shelter iguanas. On the program: swimming in complete safety thanks to the coral reef, water activities such as stand up paddle or snorkeling during which you will have the opportunity to meet coral fish, starfish, sea urchins and even sea cucumbers populating the waters of Robert Bay.

At noon, you can enjoy local culinary specialties cooked with fruits and vegetables from the local farmers' garden just for you, or your own picnic on a shaded islet or on the boat at anchor. In all cases, the Denebola Cruises team will offer you a home-made alcoholic drink to delight your taste buds!

You will enjoy a different view of the paradise island of Martinique before heading to the islet Chancel where you will anchor. This islet, which lies in the Atlantic Ocean, is surrounded by the mainland's Pointe Rouge. Here you can discover the ruins of an old pottery and a lime kiln dating from the end of the 17th century, as well as its very special vegetation which serves as a home for the endemic iguanas of the Lesser Antilles. After the walk, once on board, you can enjoy the emerald green water for a last swim before returning to port at around 4.30 pm.

So, are you ready to set sail from the island of Martinique for a unique experience and discover the islets of Robert?
