Activity description
Meet the dolphins and other marine mammals of the Caribbean Sea during a catamaran day trip from Grande Anse d'Arlet in Martinique!
Departing from Anses-d'Arlet, on the south-west coast of Martinique, get ready to experience an exceptional educational day on a catamaran where discovery and sensations will be the order of the day!
After a breakfast and a briefing about the day, you will take part in a conference on cetaceans given by a scientist from an environmental and oceanographic research office. You will learn how to differentiate between fish and cetaceans, how to spot endangered species and how to protect and reduce your impact on the marine environment.
During this incredible catamaran excursion in the West Indies, you will go in search of dolphins and other cetaceans populating the marine protected area dedicated to marine mammals in the Caribbean Sea. Dolphins are very present all year round along the coast of Martinique, so your chances of encountering them are very high overall!
After a playful awareness of the protection of the fauna and flora of the underwater world on board the catamaran, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a Martinique meal concocted on site. On the menu? A fish-based dish, prepared on the plate, and a homemade planteur (Martinique cocktail)!
Afterwards, you can relax thanks to a multitude of activities offered by the Aliotis team: snorkeling, sunbathing on the boat, or even a diving initiation. The instructors will adapt to your desires and provide you with the necessary equipment to practice the activity of your choice, in secret spots in the heart of the Caribbean.
If you want to spend a day on a catamaran that will leave you with wonderful memories of your stay in Martinique, don't hesitate! The Aliotis team and its excursion which will allow you to sail close to the dolphins can only satisfy you.
