Activity description

Come and surf the waves of the Atlantic Ocean in Martinique at the beautiful Surfer's Beach, on the Caravelle peninsula!

If you are new to surfing, it is strongly advised that you take at least one or two surfing lessons before you go out on your own. Taking a surfing course will prevent you from paddling for hours without ever catching a wave: good placement in the water cannot be invented, it has to be learned. The advice of a professional and the pedagogical exercises offered by the Surf Up Martinique school will be useful and will quickly help you to progress!

It will take you from 1 to 3 sessions to get up on your board and surf, depending on your physical condition and your motivation. Children generally manage to stand up from the first lesson because their center of gravity is much lower. But motivated and athletic adults can also do it in one lesson! It's up to you!

You will surf on the spot of the Plage des Surfeurs, on the Presqu'île de la Caravelle in Martinique, where the waves are favourable to learning. It is also a superb spot, the Presqu'île de la Caravelle being a nature reserve with exceptional biodiversity.

Don't worry, if the ocean is impassable, lessons are postponed or cancelled. The instructors are holders of the Brevet National de Sécurité et de Sauvetage Aquatique and always carry a first aid bag and a mobile phone on the beach.

Don't wait any longer and come and take your first steps on a surfboard with the Surf Up Martinique instructors, in the enchanting setting of the Caravelle peninsula and its Surfers' beach!

Bel endroit pour apprendre et explications claires. Durée de l'activité était parfaite car c'est moins évident qu'il n'y parrait.
