Huaxteca.com… ¡hasta el perro se divierte! has different packages to travel around the Huasteca Potosina. You can choose between 4 different types: 5 days, 4 days or 2 days. All include lodging, roundtrip transportation form the hotel to the activities, as well as the insurance for all the participants.

With this trips you’ll not only discover the magnificent Huasteca but you’ll also rappel off amazing heights, jumping off waterfalls of up to 8mts high. Swimming in crystal clear turquoise waters, visiting magical towns surrounded by breath-taking landscapes and rafting in rapid rivers that will give you that adrenaline shot you need!

The trip has duration of 5 days/4 nights including the lodging at Hotel Sierra Huasteca Inn plus 1 excursion per day: rafting, abseiling, canoeing and 2 hiking expeditions to villages in the area.

You’ll do rafting in one of the most spectacular rivers in the world: Tampaón River (class III) or Micos River (class II). Also, you’ll jump off challenging heights of the Micos River waterfall and abseiling off 50mts in the Minas Viejas waterfall. During the trip you’ll be canoeing on a river that will take you to the magnificent 150mts high Tamul waterfall, renowned as the highest one in the spot. Afterwards, you’ll be caving at the Cueva Del Agua, which has 45m depth.

Visit a magical place known as Las Pozas created by artist Edward James in Xilitla, known internationally for surrealist structures that seem straight out of a dream in the middle of the jungle. Furthermore, you’ll explore the Cave of Huahuas (known as the Cave of Swallows), the world's largest abyss, measuring more than 400 meters deep and 7 meters in diameter where you can observe the decline of Swifts birds.

On the other hand, you will find the Bridge of God, a heavenly turquoise crystal waters cave formation of stalagmites and stalactites with a depth of 14mts.

Note:During the months of November to June rafting is done in the Tampaon River, while from July to October is performed on the Micos River. If the water level is not right to jump off the Micos River, the activity will change. You will discover a 35mts high waterfall called El Meco & during raining season, you'll be taken to discover the 70m high waterfall El Salto.

The trip has duration of 2 days/1night including lodging at Hotel Sierra Huasteca Inn. During this trip you’ll be abseiling off 50mts at the The Minas Viejas waterfall. And jump off waterfalls of the Micos River. In case the Micos River doesn’t have the sufficient level of water, we’ll hike to discover a 35mts high waterfall called El Meco and El Salto, a 70mts waterfall.
