There is more that one amazing hike to do in the Himalayas, The Himalaya Trekking Company will take you to the Annapurna Base Camp at 4000 m.
Mount Everest is not the only trek you can experience in the Himalayas! The Annapurna Base Camp, also known as the Annapurna Sanctuary, is located on the north side of the Pokhara Valley and is also a great place for your next adventure. During this amazing hike, you'll be surrounded by beautiful landscapes, you will encounter lovely people and share their vibrant culture. You'll also get to see blooming rhododendron forests, panoramic views mountains standing over 8000 m. high!
Trekking up the Annapurna Base Camp, this 14-day mountain adventure is a perfect representation of what the region has to offer: the lively culture of theGurung and Thakali people and natural hot springs along the trail. Also, the success rate for this trek is quite hight, with around two-thirds of all trekkers reaching the base camp every year.
You will cross paths with five different mountains, all of them sharing the same name: Annapurna I, II, III, IV and Annapurna South all ranging above 7000 m. Also, Mount Dhawalgiri (8167 m.) the highest peak in the region and Mount Machapuchre, the sacred and off-limits peak which dominates the skyline over Pokhara will also stand watch on your steps.
The starting point for your trek is the beautiful lake city of Pokhara, then you'll continue through the lush subtropical forest along the narrow Modi Khola Valley, and then into picturesque farming villages to the celestial base camp of Machapuchre into the Annapurna Sanctuary. When you've finally reached the summit of the Annapurna, you'll have a 360-degree mountain view around you!
You will spend the night in the so-called "tea houses" for good night sleep and meals in this trek, which will be arranged by our experienced guides. The scenery is simply outstanding!

Reach Annapurna Base CampItinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrival in Kathmandu. You'll be received and transferred to your hotel. You'll be able to rest or enjoy the nearby area on your own. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu
Day 2 – Sightseeing & Trek preparation in Kathmandu
Cultural excursion in Kathmandu. You'll meet your trekking guide and do last minute preparations for the trek. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 3 – Kathmandu to Pokhara
Breakfast at hotel then you'll be driven approx. 6 hours to Pokhara, a popular town on the base of the Himalayas. On the way, you'll enjoy a beautiful landscape, scattered villages, a local market, and the Revarine Valley. Arrival, Check-in, leisurely stroll around the market or the lake. Day 4 – Trekking to Tolka (1810 m.)
After breakfast you'll take a short drive (half an hour) to the treks starting point in Phedi, You'll walk 4 hours towards Tolka along the Dhampus village with awesome views of local villages and the Annapurna Mountain Range. Overnight at a family-run inn.
Day 5 -Trekking to Chhomrong (2040 m.)
After breakfast, you'll start a 5-hour trekking surrounded by a wonderful landscape. You'll have a great time crossing many local villages and talking with the people along the way. You'll arrive at Chhomrong and have some leisure time. Overnight at a family-run inn.
Day 6 -Trekking to Himalaya Hotel (2950 m.)
This 6-hour trail follows the Chhomrong stream towards the Himalaya hotel. There will be an ACAP checkpoint on the way, so you will have to present the permits. Then you'll continue walking for a couple of hours with outstanding views before reaching the Himalaya hotel. Overnight at a family-run inn.
Day 7 -Trekking to Annapurna Base Camp (4130 m.)
This will be the most important day. A 7-hour walk will take you to base camp of Annapurna. Early in the morning, you'll start walking with amazing views all around. You'll reach Machhapuchhre base camp first, and later you'll continue walking until finally arriving at your destination the Annapurna Base Camp, also known as Annapurna Sanctuary. You'll be surrounded by the awesome Himalayas. Overnight at a family-run inn.
Day 8 – Trek back to Bamboo (2345 m.)
During the 6-hour walk, you'll enjoy the beautiful morning views of the surrounding Mountains. You'll have breakfast and start walking back the same route. Overnight at a family-run inn.
Day 9 - Trek back to Jhinu hot Spring (1780 m.)
You'll follow the route to Chhomrong along the rhododendron & bamboo forest. You'll arrive at Jhinu where you'll enjoy a bath on a natural hot spring. Overnight at a family-run inn.
Day 10 – Trek down to Ghandruk (1940 m.)
You'll have a comfortable 4-hour walk down to Ghandruk following the Modi Khola river. You'll explore the vibrant ethnic Gurung village located at mid-mountain. Overnight at a family-run inn.
Day 11 -Trek down to Nayapul (3 hours), then drive to Pokhara, 1.5 hours
Today is the final day of your wonderful journey in the Annapurna region. You'll walk down to Nayapul along the Modi Khola. Upon arrival at Nayapul, you hop on a vehicle and drive to Pokhara. Later, you'll rest or enjoy the evening with friends and the staff. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.
Day 12 – Pokhara to Kathmandu
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll drive back to Kathmandu. You'll have the rest of the day for leisure or for looking around the local market for last minute shopping or personal activities. Overnight in hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 13 – Rest day in Kathmandu
Leisure in Kathmandu, shopping or personal activities. Also considered as spare day in case of delay in arrival to Kathmandu. Overnight in hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 14 – Fly Back Home
After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airport and fly home with wonderful memories.Activity requirements

You should be satisfied that your cold weather clothing will keep you comfortable down to -10 degree Celsius.
