Activity description

The Abel Tasman National Park is a place that you simply can't miss it. This sea kayaking and hiking excursion allows you to cover the best of it in one day.

On this excursion you'll get to explore the national park entirely, and as the conditions dictate the trip, no trip is ever the same! In every case, you'll experience the peacefulness of paddling along the coast of the Abel Tasman National Park, and hiking among the native flora and fauna of the forest.

First, you'll board the sea shuttle towards the very heart of the Abel Tasman National Park. Afterwhich, you'll take a hike where you'll discover the complex ecosystem of the area, see stunning views, and learn of local Maori legends (stories). This is all before arriving at one of the park's golden sand beaches where you'll hop to your kayak.

The rocky landscape will be your background as you paddle to secluded bays, the fur seal colony, and hidden lagoons. Finally, you'll board the sea shuttle again for a final scenic cruise. You'll be able to lay back and enjoy the view, make sure to snap a couple of pictures as you sail back to Kaiteriteri Beach
