Activity description

You want to explore the coast of the Abel Tasman National Park? The Astrolabe explorer kayaking excursion is a highlight of Abel Tasman National Park, where you paddle the entire coastline from Anchorage to Kaiteriteri

This sea kayaking excursion will allow you to experience the best of the Abel Tasman National Park and its amazing coastline, paddling Anchorage to Kaiteriteri. Before starting your sea kayaking excursion, you'll be taken on a sea shuttle to the very heart of the National park in Anchorage.

In Anchorage, you'll jump into your kayak and paddle away with your guides! You'll come across lagoons before reaching Adele Island, where seals will be lounging under the sun. Further on, you'll visit Te Pukatea Bay, a turquoise water bay that will blow your mind. Mad Mile and Fisherman's Island will be other stops after Adele Island.

Finally, you'll visit Split Apple Rock, the most famous site in the area before reaching Kaiteriteri. During the whole trip, you'll have the gentle sea breeze on your back which should make your paddling easier!
