The North Island's most popular bungy jump is a real blast. The unique cantilever platform projects out from the cliff-top, above the inviting waters of the Waikato River below.
Whether you choose to bungy solo or tandem, the highly trained crew pride themselves in providing you with an exhilarating and safe bungy experience. If you want to add even more thrills to your jump, why not try a water touch? The centre specialises in getting people wet, whether you'd rather a hand touch or full body submersion, they endeavour to deliver a refreshing adventure.
You've found two of Taupo's leading adventure activities in one place. Located in the stunning volcanic Waikato River Valley, Taupo Bungy is considered one of the world's most spectacular bungy sites, featuring the world's first cantilever platform and New Zealand's first 'splash cam'. Taupo Cliffhanger is New Zealand's newest extreme swing, which lets swingers take in the view while they swing through nature. Located upstream of Huka Falls, and just 5 minutes from the Great Lake.
Taupo Bungy & Cliffhanger's reputation and success is reliant on the stunning scenery and natural beauty surrounding the site. Set above the clear and fresh waters of the Waikato River, it lies in the midst of a public track between the Taupo township and the mighty Huka Falls. Their aim is to protect and preserve this pristine environment and continue to give their customers a clean, green experience, whether they choose to bungy jump or swing within it, or merely take in the views.
