This activity is run & operated from Stavanger and travels to Lysefjord via coach. Return transport from Kerag is via the Ørneredet - Eagle's Nest, a popular tourist road in Ryfylke.

After a 2.5h transfer to Lyseford, reach the Eagle's Nest trailhead and lace up your hiking boots for this three-hour summit hike to 1,020 m - enjoying impressive mountain views along the way. A wild yet well-maintained route - be prepared for some light scrambling, following cairns to plateau. On reaching the Kjerag - an iconic boulder suspended 1,110-metre above a gaping chasm, you can choose to enjoy the views or wait your turn to balance on the rock - a knee-trembling experience for the brave at heart. Enjoy a leisurely hike back down to the Eagle's Nest - where your return transport will be waiting to drive you back to Stavanger.

Conditions
Suitable for anyone of good physical fitness, there are a number of demanding sections during the hike, chain railings have been secured along the trail for your safety and support. Hiking boots are strongly encouraged, or trail running shoes, at the very least.
