Activity description

Join us at Camp Troll for an exciting snowmobile adventure beneath giant mountains & learn how these spectacular summits inspired Norwegian Folklore. Based at Camp Troll in Lyngen near Tromsø we offer a day of exploration, excitement, and fun.

You will be driving in pairs, (one driver and one passenger) on each snowmobile & travel deep into nature whilst exploring the mythical world of Trolls & the majestic, spectacular Lyngen Alps.

Run by Camp Troll, where everything is inspired by (as the name suggests) Trolls!

This trip is something unique and fun for the whole family.

Offer Description

Instructions on how to handle the snowmobile will be given by your guides who will then take you on a scenic trail through the Lyngen Alps. During your day you will have time to enjoy the beautiful scenery, take pictures and of course spot trolls (although no guarantees)! We will ensure you get the most from your day out in Lyngen and back at Camp Troll hot food will be served around the fire before you depart.

Special terms

You will need a valid driving license so please bring this with you.

The duration is dependent on the weather and at the discretion of the instructor. The duration can range from 4-7 hours.

Children over the age of 7 are welcome but will need to share a snowmobile with an adult. Children must be able to sit and hold on to the snowmobile unassisted.

COVID 19:
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN GLOVES – You will be provided with outer mittens and a helmet which are sterilised before and after use, however you MUST bring your own to ensure maximum safety for you and other guests.

Activité en toute sécurité, personnel très sympa avec des pauses et collations. Un membre du personnel fait l'effort de parler un petit peu en Français ce qui est très appréciable. Évidement, Anglais obligatoire pour les instructions, nous sommes à l'étranger ce qui est normal. Poignées et accélérateur chauffants, juste au top ! Combinaison contre le froid fournie. Durée de la balade en motoneige: 1h30.

Great fun. We were lucky and had a really snowy day which made it easier to handle the snowmobiling. Really nice staff and lovely opportunity to sit in the hytte and have hot chocolate. Nice soup served back at the koselig centre.

Very well organised. All equipment necessary (warm clothing etc) was there. Had a nice day. Only small point is that Manawa described the soup as "a hot meal". It was soup with bread. For me that's not a hot meal. But other than that perfect.... And maybe the speed restriction. But if you hear from the instructors that even at lower speed people cause crashes then you can understand why the restriction is there.

Vraiment top ! une belle balade avec quelques sorties de route dans la poudreuse, tout pour satisfaire mon mari motard qui a cependant un peu regretté que l'engin soit bridé (apparemment il aurait laissé l'empreinte de son pouce sur l'accélérateur :-) )) . On a réellement pris plaisir à participer à cette activité malgré un tarif assez onéreux, ça valait le coût !
