You've already had your taster session in freediving and you are now hooked on it, so the next way to go is to go deeper with an AIDA 1 course!
It doesn't matter what your background in diving is, after having your AIDA 1 freediver course your mind will open to a whole new universe of possibilities in underwater experiences.
During the AIDA 1 course, you will learn the very basic theory of freediving. You will discover what is really freediving, the equipment needed, and how to prepare yourself for a breath-hold dive. Also, you will get familiar with breathing, duck dive, finning, buddy and safety techniques. Additionally, you will discover the main risks and dangers and how to avoid them and react to them in case of coming across them.
Then, you will head to the pool and learn the basic freediving techniques in confined water before heading to the ocean and practicing in open water. The AIDA 1 course is recommended for students with either no previous freediving experience or who would like to try it for a day while getting a qualification.
Think of the AIDA 1 course as a freediving foundation course!
Deepen your knowledge of freediving while completing your AIDA 1 certification always guided safely by a certified instructor.
After meeting you instructor, you will check in and fill the registration forms. It is recommended to have a light breakfast before meeting with the team.
Then, you will have a short theoretical session in which you will be taught the basics.
After being equipped, you will head to the practical part until lunchtime. After a break, you will continue with the open water practice.Objectives
