Canyoning is one of the best ways to experience nature in its full expression! The Ribeira de Vessadas canyon grants you the opportunity to have a soaking wet canyoning introduction.
Arouca is a region of Portugal with great natural beauty that offers many different outdoor adventures. The many mountains and streams of the area have allowed the formation of canyons and ravines over centuries of water erosion. With Clube do Paiva, you'll be able to experience the area as you make your way down a canyon!
Canyoning is considered by many as the ultimate outdoor sport since it combines techniques from rock climbing and abseiling, with hiking, jumping, swimming and even sliding down naturally carved slides! If you happen to experience this during summer, it makes an excellent way to cool off as you enjoy some time outdoors!
The Ribeira de Vessadas canyon is perfect for a canyoning introduction and its suitable for anyone since it's not highly demanding. Even if welcomes families of outdoor enthusiasts, it offers a good challenge! The highest of the abseils in the Ribeira de Vessadas canyon is 5 m. high, yet every single one of the jumps and abseils can be sorted in another way.
Also, the Ribeira de Vessadas is located in a rural region filled with beautiful landscapes that will allow you to disconnect from daily life and to be surrounded by unspoiled nature!
