Activity description
Enjoy the beauty of land and earth in Madeira Island. You will be able to travel on a 4x4 open roof car and enjoy the beauty of the marine life of the Island.
The adventure will start in Funchal, from there you will be driven to Pico dos Barcelos. From Pico dos Barcelos, you will be taken to the Nun's Valley, a special location that is isolated from any other village or city.
Afterward, you will be able to enjoy an off-road experience, surrounded by the stunning nature of Madeira. The next stop will be Pico do Arieiro (1818 mts). This place offers wonderful views of the north and south part, Ponta de São Lourenço and Paul da Serra.
The land tour will have its last stop in Funchal’s Harbor (Santo da Serra). This place is surrounded by the Laurissilva forest which has been recognized as a world heritage by UNESCO. Then you will have a break of 1h30 to buy lunch.
After the break, you will come on board on a Catamaran for a relaxing trip along the south coast, this trip will be 3 hours and you will have strong possibilities of watching diverse marine animals, as whales and dolphins.
During the summer there is the possibility of swimming below Cabo Girao Cliff.
Your instructors will provide you with information about the dolphins, feel free to ask them your questions, as they are experts in marine life.
