Enjoy a outstanding stand up paddle guided tour in Algarve, starting from Amoreira beach and finishing upstream towards Aljezur, near Lagos.
This stand up paddle activity takes place on the Costa Vicentina Natural Park's Aljezur River and Amoreira Beach, two of the most beautiful and peaceful places on the Costa Vicentina.
After you've gathered all of your equipment, your instructor will go over the fundamentals of Stand Up Paddleboarding with you. On the board, you will learn how to paddle, stand up, balance, and turn.
The river stand up paddle trip will then begin, beginning on a narrow stream deep in the valley surrounded by trees and bushes and progressing to a larger area with fields where cattle come to feed. As you paddle towards the ocean, your surroundings are constantly changing. There are areas with wild berry bushes, and then there are salt marshes with mud banks where shellfish grow and birds come to feed and rest.
The entire river is teeming with fish, which will leap out of the water as you stand up and silently paddle forward. The landscape changes yet again as you approach the river beach, which is surrounded by tall dunes 500m behind Amoreira beach. A tropical paradise with enticing crystal clear water!

Minors must have authorization from their parents.
Once your booking has been confirmed, please contact the instructor to plan the meet-up / pick-up time and place for your activity. The time will be arranged according to the tide of the river.
Pick up & Drop off in Lagos for 15€ extra per booking/group. Pick up also possible in Luz, Espiche, Burgau, Budens, Salema, Figueira, Raposeira, Vila do Bispo, Sagres, Carrapateira and Aljezur.
