There is no better way to discover the beautiful coast of Serra da Arrábida than doing kayaking and snorkeling over its waters - it's like being in paradise!
The bays within Arrábida Natural Park provide an ideal setting for engaging in the activity of kayaking. Immerse yourself in the enchanting beauty of Praia dos Coelhos or the breathtaking landscapes of Galápos and Galapinhos beaches. These beaches, along with Praia da Figueirinha, collectively form one of Europe's most splendid bays. Situated less than an hour's drive away from Lisbon, they lie between the picturesque village of Sesimbra and the city of Setúbal.
Your kayaking experience will start with a safety briefing and an introduction to your guide and your kayaking and snorkeling equipment. Following this, there will be a learning and review session, during which you will acquire the skills to maneuver the kayak effectively. After that you will embark on a journey towards the sea where you will have a remarkable opportunity to make a stop at the renowned Anicha Island for an optional snorkeling session. Here, you can observe the abundant marine life that surrounds the island up close.
You will navigate the crystal clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Along the coastal area between Portinho da Arrábida and Praia de Alpertuche, you can also explore mysterious caves and hidden beaches. Concluding the kayaking experience, you will return to the starting point for a debriefing session where you can share and discuss the highlights of the day.
