If you have always dreamed about learning the fascinating sport surfing is, then you are in the perfect place in one of Europe's top surfing spots, Peniche!

Go4Surf offers you top of the line equipment from the best brands in the market. Also, their team of professionally trained teachers who have been surfing almost for their entire lives will guide through the basics if you are an absolute beginner or polish your techniques if you are an experienced surfer. In any case, Go4Surf is looking forward to welcome you to Gamboa Beach in Peniche.

For beginners, this lessons are perfect! If you who have never surfed before, or you have tried it a few times but never really gotten the hang of it, you will feel like a fish in the water. More advanced surfers will continue to evolve in their surf and start to drop green waves and bigger.

Whatever is the case, you'll be given a surfboard and a wetsuit suited to you. Your classes include all the basics, from learning how to look after a wetsuit and laying on a board, to surfing the green section of the wave, even-though the content will adapt can be adapted to your previous level

According to your development, you may change to the advance group and learn other techniques. An extra bonus is that all you're lessons will be filmed for so you can later analyze them with your coaches.

There is also possibility to stay in one of their beach lofts!

  - Priority rules
  - Position in the line up to catch unbroken waves
  - Surf the green waves – bottom turn
  - Advanced maneuvers

- For intermediates:

  - Identification of the best peaks, currents.
  - Security and priority rules
  - Drop in green waves
  - Turning backside and frontside
  - Trimming
  - Cut Back and bottom turn

- For advanced:

 - Brief surfer diagnosis
 - Review surfing basics
 - Paddling and turning for the wave techniques (tricks and details)
 - Priority rules
 - How a surfboard works
 - Distinguish types of waves and which surf you must apply on each of them
 - The “Bottom turn” and its importance for wave riding success
 - The importance of the upper body for the bottom turn.
 - Duck dive” techniques”
 - Surf maneuvers -“off the lip” and “cut – back”
 
 

Activity requirements

All participants must be good swimmers. A previous experience with surfing is not required.

Special terms

Minors must have authorization from their parents.

There is the possibility to stay in one of their beach lofts: The price varies from 65€ to 70€ and the rooms are for 3 people maximum. Please get in touch with your instructor after booking to arrange this.

For me was firts time doing this, and I never did anything like that before (other surf related activits), I just did gynasio training. This surf lesson was demanding, I've got serius tiered, the waves just keep coming, and trying to surf most of them was phisicaly exausting. Perhaps some guideness about resting once in a while and select a easy waves to surf would help in such phisical demanding activity.
