CilaosAventure proposes some of the most beautiful canyons in Reunion Island!
Trou Blanc is situated in the heart of the Cirque of Salazie, at the bottom of the sloping pool of the Piton des Neiges. After a 15-minute car journey from the Hell Bourg bakery you will be able to access the car park of Piton d’Enchaing (which is classified as a part of the World Heritage of UNESCO).
You will approach the canyon on foot with the sun shining directly down on you, providing you with an amazing panoramic view of the cirque, really allowing you to enjoy the environment. On your way down you will see the sparsely placed remaining houses, before descending towards the entrance of the canyon where the briefing will take place. Then let the games begin!
The canyon starts in a narrow gorge with a small abseil of 10 metres, then a small slide and a longer ‘S’ shaped slide, which will be a moment we’re sure you’ll never forget. You will continue your canyoning fun with exhilarating waterslides, all providing different thrills. At midday, you’ll break for lunch at the ‘dining room’ to enjoy the sun and exceptional atmosphere. Here you’ll have the opportunity to do a 4 metre jump, but be warned, this jump has been known to become very addictive.
In the afternoon, you’ll have the possibility of jumping in a series of pools (maximum depth of 8 metres which are not obligatory), participating in short abseils and a slide nicknamed ‘The Accelerator of Particles’. The grand finale will be done using a zip line (20 metres high and 35 metres long) which will land you in the water.
