Philippe offers you to go scuba diving on the west coast of Reunion Island, a breath for sea life with 20 of the island's best diving sites located between the two cities of Saint Paul and Saint Leu.
All participants must have at least their FFESSM, CMAS, PADI, SSI... certification.
You will explore the ocean and discover the aquatic fauna and flora in this guided adventure dives that lasts 2.5 hours! Don't forget to keep your eyes open you might be able to see a manta ray, whale-sharks and even green turtles!
The dives last roughly 50 minutes with a group of 4 or 6 divers. You are free to choose the spots, depending on the weather condition. Your guide will take you to the spots using a boat that can hold 11 people. Before every dive Philippe has a short and effective briefing with the group about the activity and the safety rules.
La Pointe au Sel
It is the biggest drop of the Reunion island and one of the most popular diving sites. Divers should not miss out on the opportunity to explore this magnificent spot full of surprises!
This drop has more than 70 meters of staggering depth. The dive consists of going down along the 25 meters cliff to reach the 71 meters deep zone.
The underwater wildlife is really diverse, you will be able to observe butterfly fish (Heniochus), triggerfish, (Balistidae), atlantic lizardfish (Synodus saurus), fusiliers (Caesionidae), moray eels (Muraenidae), barracudas (Sphyraena), lobsters, octopus, 2 meters long dogtooth tunas or white tuna (Gymnosarda unicolor), school of 200 caranx, sea turtles and even rays. If you're lucky enough you might see manta rays, dolphins, whale-sharks and hammerhead sharks.

It was a former lobster boat which drowned in 1993, broken in half. It is now a beautiful artificial reef that lays down at 50 meters underwater. You can find Giant moray (Gymnothorax javanicus), Caranx, Tunas.

This Asian fishing boat drowned in the 80s. You will have the moment of your life discovering this wonderful wreck and the sea life. It is now in a depth of 58 meters with water current.

La Barge de SaintPaul
This beautiful and small shipwreck is an artificial reef for the sea life. While diving you will see batrachoididae, ghost pipefish (Solenostomus), Guitarfish (Rhinobatidae). Because the island is volcanique, the sandy bottom is black.

The Antonio Lorenzo
The Chilean longline fishing boat lays at 40 meters down in the water. The boat was drowned near La Pointe du Sel drop in 1999 because it was fishing off the Kerguelen islands illegally. The Antonio Lorenzo is one of the most gorgeous dives, you might see whale sharks, caranx and manta rays.
Level: FFESSM level 3 minimum
Le Cap de Lahoussaye
It is located in the marine natural reserve of the Reunion island. The setting is very beautiful and diverse. There is a colourful coral reef full of sealife and a small drop with gorgeous caves. During the activity you can green turtles, lobsters and catfish.
La Pierre au Préfet
La Pierre au Préfet is located on the barrier reef. It is a gentle slope of 10 to 25 meters depth. This magnificent rock is a shelter for moray eels, red lionfish, green turtles and even common stingrays.

Others: La Tour du Boucan, la Vallée aux Mérous and les Gorgones Merveilleuses.
La Passe de trois bassins
This passage is between 4 and 25 meters depth is home to an impressive aquatic fauna and flora. The ravins are pure white sandy bottom and corals. Keep an eye for the platax and emperor angelfish.

Others: Passe de l'Ermitage.
This adventure dive is the perfect way for you to discover the island's magical spots. The activity lasts 2,5 hours.
The meeting will take place at the Saint-Gilles harbour. You will then put on your equipment and have a short and effective briefing about the activity and the safety rules.
The journey to the diver's spot is a 20 minute boat ride. You will then go scuba diving for 50 minutes in the water and explore the depth of the ocean! Beverages are on the house!
Please note you are not allowed to fly for up to 24 hours after your last dive.
