Tandem paragliding – who’s it for?
It’s for everyone aged between 4 – 99, as long as you’re able to take a few steps on the ramp to take off. The take-off is very gentle and no you don’t need to be a high level sports person!
Children must be able to express themselves clearly so the instructor can understand what they want and adapt to their needs.
What about vertigo?
With a paragliding flight you don’t feel the effect of vertigo, to feel it your feet need to touch the floor. You’ll be sat very comfortably in your seat so open your eyes and take it all in! Paragliding can be compared to scuba diving or yoga, you’ll find yourself full of contemplation.
And the adrenaline rush?
You can fly in a thousand different ways, that’s the beauty of paragliding. You can sit back and just enjoy the scenery or you can do aerobatics, fly the glider or do a spiral where you descend 15 metre/second!
There really is something for everyone!
Who will I fly with?
The tandem paraglide pilots are certified professionals, they all have their diplomas allowing them to fly with a passenger. They know exactly what to do to make sure you fully enjoy your experience in the air!
Is there a weight limit?
The total weight of both the pilot and passenger must not exceed 230 kg. So a passenger can weigh up to 120 kg, as long as you can sit in the seat comfortably, you’re good to go.
For children who weigh less than 40 kg, it is advisable to fly first thing in the morning when the conditions are calm.
How should I dress?
For classic flights it is advisable to wear trousers, a jacket, a windbreaker and sunglasses.
On your feet you should wear trainers or hiking boots. Sandals and flip flops are a big no no!

Is it dangerous?
It is only dangerous if you fly with someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing.
The instructors that will accompany you are extremely competent and responsible. They have one goal and one goal only, to make sure you have the most fun in the air, safely.
