The 60 km.-route starts at Randazzo, at the Alcantara river bridge. Then you'll enter the town through the Aragonese Gate, ride across the old town center and go out through the St. Martin Gate. After leaving the town, you'll pedal along a short stretch of the SP185 until reaching the path that borders the Gurrida lake.
Then, you'll continue to Flascio River's bed and follow it until arriving at a crossroad that will lead you to your destination. There, a short, but challenging climb, awaits you. Once you've reached the top, a small rural chapel, surrounded by a green lawn, will allow you to take a break.
After having a picnic lunch, you'll ride towards Floresta passing through Portella Castagnera and Portella Mitta. Once in Floresta, you'll take the narrow street passing by the cemetery, following the Alcantara river up to Rifugio S. Maria del Bosco. A landslide has wiped out part of the main trail, so you'll be forced to make a short detour: a single-track, demanding trail that combines up and downhill.
