Snorkeling Tour in the Aeolian Islands, Sicily

Course of events

6:45: You’ll be picked up at your accommodation and transported to Capo d’ Orlando or Capo Calavà.

9.00: You’ll board a comfortable boat and travel along the west coast to Vulcano Island. As you enjoy incredible views of the coast, you'll visit Vulcano’s famous Grotta Del Cavallo (Horse Cave), Piscina Di Venere (Pool of Venus), and Scoglio Del Leone (Lion’s Cliff). Take this moment to go swimming and snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters surrounding you!

10:15: You’ll land on Spiaggia Sabbie Nere (a stunning volcanic black sand beach), visit natural thermal baths, and walk through the historic island center of Vulcano.

12:30: It’s time to board and travel to Lipari Island, the largest of the Aeolian islands. You’ll land in Marina Corta, next to the city center of Lipari. If you wish, you can have lunch at "Gabbiano", where you can try traditional meals from Aeolian culture! After lunch, you’ll have time to explore Lipari’s historic city center.

15:00: You’ll board the boat and travel to Cave di Pomice (Cave of Pumice) where you’ll swim in one of the clearest waters near the island. Since pumice stone used to be extracted there, it’s created an extremely white seabed that gives the water a vivid, deep blue color. On board, you’ll be able to enjoy some tea and fruit juice while admiring this phenomenal location.

16:00: Your final destination will be Faraglioni di Lipari, two volcanic rock formations located in the southern part of Lipari. 

17:00: You'll head back to Capo d’ Orlando or Capo Calavà.

18:00: Once you arrive, you'll take the 2-hour shuttle back to Palmero with amazing memories of your Vulcano & Lipari Islands tour.

You’ll enjoy Faraglioni di Lipari, two volcanic rock formations located in the southern part of Lipari. This spot is a great place to swim or snorkel, surrounded by a wonderful backdrop before you continue your adventure.

12:00: You’ll travel and arrive in Lingua di Salina where you’ll have the chance to have a traditional Sicilian lunch and try food like Pani Cunzato or Granita at Alfredo’s

After lunch, you’ll have time to traverse through the ancient, peaceful streets of Lingua.

15:30: You’ll board and travel to Pollara Beach, one of the most spectacular, remote beaches on the island. 

16:30: You'll head back to Capo d’ Orlando or Capo Calavà.

18:00: Once you arrive, you'll take the 2-hour shuttle back to Palmero with lasting memories of your Lipari & Salina Islands tour.
