Activity description

The Pulau Ubin mangroves are a hidden wonderland close to the center of Singapore, and this specially designed 4-hour excursion is perfect for all adventure seekers.

This kayaking excursion is beginner friendly, no need to bring anything as all equipment and gear is provided. Jump onto one of our tandem kayaks with a friend and you're ready for your adventure.

Pulau Ubin is a beautiful island just at the northeastern end of Singapore, just a 10-minute ferry ride from Changi Point Ferry Terminal. Tranquil, Wild and rustic, it is now the only place where you can still see and experience Singaporean village living.

Perhaps more famously, Pulau Ubin is home to large mangroves, unique to this island. These tranquil calm waters of these mangroves are where you will spend the majority of your journey, after a short open sea kayak.

While it's a calm area, there is also an abundance of wildlife, be sure to look out for: Kingfishers, Eagles, Hornbills, Herons and Egrets and many more species.

There was work involved in the kayaking but the two guides were really helpful and friendly and were competent and skilled. I had never kayaked before and I am no longer young

Relaxed paddle in rural Singapore

The activity was initially called off due to rain, but given that we were already at Changi Point, this was reassessed and thankfully we were able to go ahead.

Nice activity but the amount of wildlife and the rubbish in the Mangroves was disappointing

Great activity away from the city. We saw a snake and it rained while we are on our way back which made the tour more fun and exciting!

Moderate Kayaking with my children in the shoreline of Ubin and man groove. Get to see birds: eagle, stock, mangrove mudskippers carps and flora and beautiful nature scene of greenery and the sky

Wonderful to experience the eco-system supporting Singapore, the island. It wasn't just the opportunity to be in nature, but it showcases how a modern city environment can be balanced against respect for mother nature. Commendable efforts to support, maintain and make safe the environment. Singapore is not just iconic skyscrapers and fancy restaurants. Its also the living and breathing mangroves, wetlands, marine life and wild animals.

Wonderful activity of kayaking in the sea and then into the mangrove area. It was so nice to be outdoors and in the sea, observing the wildlife and appreciating its beauty. We all had kayak-experience but I think it would be suitable for beginners too as we had a brief introduction and one feels safer going out to sea with an instructor.

An excellent way to bond with your family and/or friends through physical activity. Expect some wind and choppy water at the beginning/end of the tour on the way to/from mangroves.

Fairly manageable for someone with average fitness, pretty much suitable for everyone. It’s nice to be in nature and soaking it the tranquility.

Nice to be outdoors and we enjoyed the fact we have the instructor to ourselves.

We had an excellent trip around the Mangroves and fish farms of Pulao Ubin. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable about the area, the mangroves and their ecosystems.
