Activity description
Get out of your comfort zone and try extreme canyoning in the gorgeous setting of the Soča region in Slovenia. The gorge offers you a challenging mix of slides, rappels and jumps of 3-7 metres (10-23 feet).
An enthusiastic team of certified guides will meet you at the meeting point in Bled (or pick you up around the Bled area). You will first meet with your certified guide at the Altitude offices in Bled. The guide will provide you with all of the necessary equipment as well as go over the safety procedures and discuss what can be expected of the day. You will then drive to the stunning Soča region, stopping in Predil, a high mountain pass between the border of Slovenia and Italy, where the extreme adventure begins!
Before entering the canyon, you will equip yourself with a wet suit, boots, helmets and all technical equipment with the help of your guide. Here you will spend the next 5 to 6 hours jumping into pools, sliding down the natural playground, and of course, repelling down the incredible rocky landscape. The highest jump will be from 7 meters with water rapids at level 2 and the rappels up to 45 m. The Slovenian Alps are famous for their natural canyons, your guide will make sure you are able to take advantage of all their wild splendour in this activity for those who dare!

- The jumps in the canyon can reach up to 10 metres (39 feet). However, an easier alternative is possible.
Special terms
- This activity is not recommended for people with heart issues or pregnant women. When having health issues, please consult with a guide.
- If you wear glasses or contact lenses, please tell your guide in advance.
- It is advised that you leave valuable items at your accommodations or at the meeting point.
- At the starting point, there are no facilities (changing rooms or restrooms), therefore it is recommended that you already wear your swimsuit.
- In the case of the high-water level, the guide can change the canyon or cancel the activity because of safety reasons.
- Water can be cold, but 7mm thick wetsuits will keep you warm
- The tour operates in most weather conditions. Except in the case of thunderstorms, it might be postponed or cancelled.
- If you will come to the meeting point in Bled, please note that there are no parking spots at the office.
