Rafting came to the Soča River back in the '90s when the first heavy inflatable boats tried the rapids of the river. After that first experience, word got out and the sport became the most popular activity in Bovec and Soča Valley!
The Soca River offers one of the most exciting rafting experiences you'll ever find. Paddling down the river with your crew and led by your raft master, you'll sort the obstacles that the mighty Soca will put in your way! Splashes, twists, whirlpools, and bumps will be part of this experience that guarantees you'll need to change into dry clothes after!
The Soca River offers sections with different difficulties, which means nearly anyone can try rafting here, from kids to adrenaline freaks. Though rafting is possible from April to October, granted the weather conditions allow it, spring and summer are the best seasons since the snow is melting in the mountains or because of heavy rain!
