Activity description

Table Mountain is as iconic as The Matterhorn and just happens to have a modern, cosmopolitan, city at its feet - Cape Town. Not only does Cape Town have gorgeous beaches and amazing wine, but mountain playgrounds are easily found, Table Mountain being the most iconic and certainly the most accessible.

The rock climbing is predominantly located on the northern (city) and western (Atlantic) faces, each offering excellent and technical multi pitch traditional climbing above uniquely spectacular views.

You'll be met at the lower cable station. This allows the guide to secure early queue space. Half day Table Mountain trips will include abseiling and then climbing3-4 pitches of rock (depending on the route choice) - in the morning and followed by the same for a full day on the other side of the mountain, in the afternoon.

Clients must note that the tours do not include cable car fees or catering for lunch or snacks due to broad dietary needs people have.

Teodore was our guide. The whole experience was fantastic. Myself and wife did it. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Being beginner climbers he made us feel very safe. Tristan the owner of Vertigo adventures who was my first point of contact was great to deal with, professional and very helpfull.
