Situated just 20 km from central Cape Town, Hout Bay is a lively coastal town well known for its scenic views and deliciously fried fish and chips. When you’re not busy enjoying the local eats, kayaking is one of the best ways to take advantage of the breathtaking shoreline. Local instructors can take you on a two hour guided tour you will be sure to never forget.
On this tour, you can expect to explore Cape Town’s most iconic shorelines with marine life making their way to the water’s surface. The waters here are extremely calm making perfect conditions for seasoned or beginning kayakers. With stunning views of Chapman’s Peak and a visit to the seal sanctuary, be sure to keep an eye out for penguins, dolphins, whales, and sunfish!
