Activity description
Enjoy an exhilarating and scenic ride on a 900-meter cable between seven forested platforms, a.k.a The Fastest Cable Tour in South Africa.
You’ll walk along an easy platform to access the cable, it’s so simple that even children as young as 4 can do it! This adrenaline activity is an amazing thrill for the entire family. Kids ride in tandem with an expert guide.
But be warned this cable is one of the longest in the country, it spans up to 240 meters between the platforms and reaches breath-taking speeds of up to 60km per hour. Much too fast for bird watching!
What makes this cable so fast is the innovative guide operated braking system, which basically means more speed and less stress about stopping in time.
The activity
You’ll put on your harness at the reception and then take the 10-minute walk to the first platform. Platform 1 is built into the side of a hill, so there is no scary climb to get there. Most of the slides are visible from the Adventure Centre, which gives members of the party not on the tour, a chance to still be part of the action.
It’s great to immortalize such magical moments, which is why you’re advised to bring along a camera, just make sure it has a strap – wouldn’t want to lose it on the way.
The activity will last anywhere between 45 to 90 minutes depending on group numbers.

There is a maximum weight limit of 120 kg// 120 lbs.
Special terms
Groups larger than 8 can be accommodated using two sets of guides. Groups leave within 10 minutes of each other.
