Microlight flying is the best way to observe the picturesque landscape South Africa has to offer. Limpopo is known for its great weather all year round so you'll be able to see for miles from the air. You have four options to choose from:
- Game viewing flight
This offer is focused on game sighting. As you will be starting in Hoedspruit at the foot breathtaking Klein Drakensberg you will be flying over Big Five game reserves. The location and flight length gives you a very good chance of spotting at least 3 of 5! Leopards and lions are the hardest to find but are majestical when you do. You have great chances to see all sorts of game like buffalos, elephants, hippos, wildebeest, giraffe, warthogs, zebra and impala.
- Blyde River Canyon + Game viewing
This offer combines a picturesque flight over the Blyde River Dam and above the Blyde River Canyon to experience the incredible views of the Three Rondawels and then returns to Hoedspruit. On the way back you get 10 to 15 minutes of game viewing so you have best of both worlds.
- Blyde Canyon + Bourkes Luck Potholes
Fly over the magical geological phenomenon caused by erosion creating giant cylindrical potholes. Tom Bourke for years thought there to be gold but he never found any. These incredible views plus the Blyde Canyon makes for a truly unforgettable flying experience.
- Olifants River
This offer takes you towards to Olifants river, flying over game reserves along the way. When you reach the river you will follow it's course. The river offers incredible views and natural wildlife to observe along the way.
