Activity description

Explore the 235 ha. of the Coastal Reserve on a mountain bike. Ride over dunes, through the river, and even on the beach!

Oyster Bay Lodge provides a half day (4h) mountain biking excursion through a trail crossing different types of terrain. Get ready for an extremely technical and very beautiful excursion!

The trail allows you to go through a wide variety of terrain and test your body while keeping it interesting.

Oyster Bay Lodge has built a ferry to help you cross the river, as well as small bridges to cross the wetlands. 

A 9-kilometer trail has been created for those who dare to be different. The terrain varies between Fynbos stretches, vegetated dunes, sand patches, hilly grounds, beach front and wetlands.

The mountain biking experience was refreshing and very energizing. We had a lovely cycle amongst the fynbos and other greenery with the brushing of the waves in the background. The ups and downs were gentle and the terrain was clearly marked. A lovely morning out in nature.
