The Riera d'Osor is located in the heart of the Guilleries, more specifically in the Selva region (20 minutes from Girona and an hour and a half from Barcelona). The Riera d'Osor, the most complete watercourse in the Guilleries, is in the Selva region, in the north-west of Catalonia, and runs through the municipalities of Sant Hilari Sacalm, Anglès and Osor, finally flowing into the river Ter.
Canyoning uses a range of methods to navigate the canyons and can involve other outdoor sports such as hiking, running, jumping, abseiling and swimming. Staff will meet you in Angles, near the activity site, where you will receive a 30 minute briefing on the itinerary, equipment and safety protocols.
This is a very exciting canyon, of low difficulty. This is a fun and educational activity, ideal for families, groups of friends or work colleagues.
- Meeting with the guide in Anglés by car where he will guide you to the starting point of the activity.
- Arrival at the starting point. Briefing with information about the itinerary, equipment and safety protocols.
- Beginning of the canyoning.
- Return to the meeting point, where a snack will be offered.
Activity requirements
Participants must be at least 8 years old and have a written consent by a legal guardian.
Pregnant people are not advised to participate in this activity.
