Take to the skies in a hot air balloon and see Montserrat in all its splendour. As the sun rises, let yourself be mesmerised by the balloon's assembly. Watch as the crew expertly unfolds the huge balloon and inflates it. With a burst of heat from the burners, the balloon will ascend gracefully, ready to take you on a tranquil and unconventional journey.
Depending on weather conditions, the flight will depart from a location close to the mountain, allowing you to enjoy unparalleled views of the majestic Montserrat during the 1 hour and 15 minute flight. Ascend to heights of up to 1,500 metres, capturing breathtaking views and immersing yourself in the natural beauty that surrounds you.
The entire activity, which includes inflation, take-off, flight, landing and return in 4x4 vehicles, takes approximately 3 hours. Throughout the entire experience, you will be in the hands of qualified professionals who put your safety first and guarantee a truly memorable adventure.
The option taking off from Igualada, will take you to the skies over Conca d'Odena, where millions of years ago was a lake, and you'll witness the southern side of Montserrat.
While you're in the air, the ground crew will follow you on 4x4 vehicle that will also drive you back to the meeting point after you landed safely. But first, you'll have a sparkling wine toast and receive a certificate that makes you part of the hot air balloon riders community!
