OcioAventura Cerro Gordo invites you to discover a via ferrata itinerary in the depths of the Sierra de Gracia Mountain of Archidona.
Located in the far western peak of Sierra de Gracia you’ll find a beautiful itinerary. It is situated in Archidona a charming little city in Malaga, Andalusia.
This mountain range is known to have a castle set deep in the highest peak of the mountain, the famous Puerta del Sol (Door of the Sun) and a little shrine named Nuestra Señora de Gracia.
The climbing path is situated near the shrine, and will give you amazing views of the ancient edifications. You’ll learn more about the culture and history of this picturesque little town.
Officially known like Ferrata Sierra de Gracia, is a great experience for first timers and experienced mountaineers. The newly installed route is in good condition for its practice.
It is technically simple, with a rise of 80m and 30m suspension bridge at the end.
It has a total length of 150m and an accumulated height of 110m, making the difficulty level to be considered easy to moderate.

You'll meet with the team at the Town Hall of Archidona at the selected time. When you're there you'll walk all the way to the starting point in Sierra de Gracias. Before starting you will get all geared up with the necessary equipment and receive a briefing on security protocols and the itinerary itself.
