Activity description

Not everything in skiing is speed and gliding downhill. Cross-country skiing allows you to reach spots in the mountain in a different way. Telemark Sierra Nevada has several itineraries so you can explore the mountains in a more authentic way.

If you're into mountaineering and skiing, then you'll feel right at home during a ski touring outing. Telemark Sierra Nevada has designed different routes so you can experience skiing in Granada in a completely different, and unconventional, way:

- Sierra Nevada to Tossal del Cartujo (3,150 m)
- Sierra Nevada to Pico del Mulhacén (3,485 m) & Trévelez
- Valle del Guarnón to Cerro de los Machos (3,327 m)
- Sierra Nevada to Mulhacen (3,485 m) & Cerro de los Machos (3,327 m)

Sierra Nevada is a perfect place for ski touring because of its high mountains with large walls covered in beautiful crisp white snow. The resort has different types of peaks and mountains each and everyone different to the others; thanks to this you can find different routes for all levels.

As long as there's snow in Sierra Nevada, the area is perfect for ski touring, yet in spring, thanks to the amazing spring snow, the spot is even more impressive. Spring snow is one of the staples of Sierra Nevada, one of the southernmost ski resorts in Europe.
