Join the international community of PADI certified divers after completing the Open Water Diver Course in the beautiful beaches of Xabia, Alicante!
The first of the diving certification you can obtain is the PADI Open Water Diver. This course marks the beginning of your scuba diving adventures and will help you become an independent diver!
Thanks to the PADI Open Water Diver course, you'll be authorized and trained to dive to depths of 18 m. without supervision as long as you stick to the buddy system, this means diving with another certified scuba diver in order to say safe.
The Open Water Diver course has 3 components to focus on: theory, confined water dives, and open water dives. Buceo Pelicar's version of the course will last for 4 days. On the first day, you'll have a theoretical session followed by 2 immersions in their pool. The following day, you'll continue with theory and pool immersions. On the third day, you'll board their boat and head on to the sea for a couple of dives after a short theory course. Finally, on day 4, you'll have a test to certify your new skills and knowledge during 2 dives at the sea.

First day: Theory and pool session (3 modules)
Second day: Theory and pool session (2 modules)
Third day: Theory and 2 open water dives from the sea
Fourth day: Final exam and 2 open water dives from the sea
All participants must be able to swim.
Minors must have authorization from their parents.
