Activity description

Sunshine, it’s SUP time! Start your stand up paddle boarding (or SUP) adventure and learn this up-and-coming sport that’s welcome to everyone.

SUP is an interactive, fun way to explore the reflective waters of Lake Åresjön as you get a full-body workout without even knowing it! The vast mountains surrounding you offer incredible views as your instructor will teach you the SUP basics that you’ll need before you can glide through the sparkling waters.

Onshore, you’ll have a brief stretch session to loosen your body before you’ll learn about general SUP information, the equipment, and safety rules. Once that’s all done, you’ll make your way onto the lake where you’ll learn different paddling methods, how to keep your balance and a proper position on the board, and how to turn with several different techniques.

Without a doubt, learning how to SUP in Åre is a great way to enjoy your summer holiday as you take in the panoramic, scenic views of the nature around you!
