Stockholm is the capital city of Sweden. Despite being a bustling metropolis, Stockholm is also a gateway to green spaces, wilderness areas and stunning natural beauty. On this trip, you'll travel from Stockholm to Gnesta, a small town situated approximately 70 kilometres (43 miles) southwest of Stockholm.

The adventure begins at the meeting point in Stockholm. After meeting the experienced guide, you'll enjoy a scenic drive to Gnesta. Gnesta is nestled amidst the scenic countryside of Södermanland, surrounded by forests, lakes, and farmland. Its proximity to the picturesque countryside makes it an attractive destination for those seeking rural tranquillity.

After a safety and backpacking briefing, you will begin hiking for about an hour following a path that leads off-trail. Surrounded by Nordic nature, you will swim in the refreshing waters of beautiful lakes and enjoy a well-deserved lunch in this magical environment. As you follow the forest trail, you may spot different wildlife, including elks, owls, beavers and deer. In the evening, you'll set up camp, cook over an open fire, and enjoy another delicious meal! 

The second day of your adventure will begin with building a campfire, followed by a scrumptious breakfast. After packing up, you'll continue your hiking experience! In the afternoon, you'll stop at a scenic lake for lunch and admire the stunning view while enjoying a hot coffee. You'll hike back to the starting point in Gnesta, before the relaxing return drive to Stockholm.
