Experience the Stockholm archipelago on a speed boat: it is fast and exciting, a true natural treat! It will only take you about five minutes to reach the archipelago with its 30,000 islands in the Baltic sea!
The excursion will start with a short briefing on what to expect during the 1h boat ride. Then, you'll be provided waterproof gear and a life jacket. You'll hop into the boat and grab the railing; it is going to be a fast ride!
On your way out of the city, you'll pass the National Museum and the scenic urban coast. The boat will take a loop around Djurgården so you get to see the Gröna Lund amusement park and the Vasa Museum. Then, the boat boat will pick up speed leaving the city behind at speeds of up to 40 miles (50 km) per hour towards the astonishing Stockholm archipelago.
After reaching the island of Fjäderholmarna, you'll be in the proper archipelago. There, you'll witness the rocky, tree-covered islands that dot the Baltic Sea, some of which are home to pastel-colored small fishing villages. At the island of Vaxholm, the boat will slow down so you have a chance to appreciate the immense Vaxhholm Fortress, originally constructed in the 1500s.
Participants must be taller that 1.40 m. and weight less than 130 kgs. Minors must be accompanied by their parents.
