Activity Snapshot
Activity description
Experience the Stockholm archipelago on a speed boat! Fast and exciting, it will only take you about five minutes to reach the archipelago with its 30,000 islands in the Baltic Sea!
Before the adventure begins, you will receive a short safety briefing. The experienced captains have all the necessary formal permits and certificates as well as ample experience, providing safe and fun boat tours! The rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) are CE certified and equipped according to the requirements for fast crafts issued by the Swedish Transportation Agency.
After receiving waterproof gear and a life jacket, you'll hop into the boat and grab onto the railing; it is going to be a fast ride!
On your way out of the city, you'll pass the National Museum and the scenic urban coast. The boat will also pass by Djurgården, where you'll be able to see the Gröna Lund amusement park and the famous Vasa Museum. Then, the RIB will pick up steam, leaving the city behind at speeds of up to 40 miles (50 km) per hour towards the stunning Stockholm archipelago.
After reaching the island of Fjäderholmarna, you'll discover the rocky and tree-covered islands that dot the Baltic Sea, some of which are home to small, pastel-colored fishing villages. At the island of Vaxholm, the boat will slow down so you have a chance to appreciate the immense Vaxhholm Fortress, originally constructed in the 1500s.
Participants must be taller than 1.40 m (to reach the flooring) and weigh less than 130 kgs. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
