The day begins at the starting point in Stockholm, where you will meet the experienced guide. From there, they will drive you to Dalarö, a charming coastal village located southeast of Stockholm. On your way, you'll relax, admire the scenery, and observe charming red wooden houses that are quintessentially Swedish. Once in Dalarö, your paddling adventure begins! The guide will go through a safety briefing and paddling instructions, before you set off on the archipelago.
Far away from the city, you'll feel at peace with the nature and wilderness of the archipelago. You'll hop between different islands, each with its own unique character and landscape, discovering rugged coastlines, rocky cliffs, lush forests, and tranquil coves. Midway through, you'll stop for a break at one of the deserted islands and enjoy a campfire meal and traditional Swedish Fika (snack).
Continuing on the kayaking journey along the pristine waters of the Baltic Sea, you may spot different bird species, such as songbirds, sea eagles, geese, and cormorants. The guide will share insights about the different wildlife you encounter. After exploring a few more remote islands in the archipelago, you'll paddle back to the starting point in Dalarö. Then, the guide will drive you to the original meeting point in Stockholm.
