Activity description

Experience breathtaking nature on the outskirts of Stockholm by snowshoeing and hiking across scenic snow-covered lakes and forests! Welcoming beginners and adventurers aged 12 and up.

Sweden's iconic capital city of Stockholm has the best of both worlds. Located on 14 islands, the city is part of the Stockholm Archipelago, which stretches out to the Baltic Sea. To fully immerse yourself in the region's incredible winter wonderland, don't miss snowshoeing in Stockholm!

Your fun-filled excursion starts at the meeting point in Stockholm, where you'll be greeted by your knowledgeable instructor. After a gear fitting, you and your group (a maximum of 8 participants) will board the shuttle for the scenic drive to the starting point. Upon your arrival, you will receive a safety and itinerary briefing along with an introduction to snowshoeing and snowshoeing techniques. Then, with snowshoes on and your poles in hand, your 7-hour adventure snowshoeing in Stockholm begins! (Please note that this tour combines snowshoeing and hiking.)

You'll set off into the snow-covered landscapes surrounding Stockholm and experience the serenity of nature. Throughout the excursion, your guide will share information about the geographical history of the area as well as the local wildlife (which includes deer, wild boars, moose, beavers, etc.) and their tracks in the snow. In addition, you'll be treated to a delicious campfire lunch. A great way to warm up, take a well-deserved break, and re-energize! You'll also enjoy Swedish Fika (hot drinks and pastries). Participants will enjoy stunning vistas and amazing photo opportunities along the way.
