Zipline over Tine de Montbovon Gorge in Château-d'Oex on this epic canyoning experience!
Let your legs dangle over the currents of La Tine Gorge on this ultimate whitewater adventure in Gruyère Pays-d'Enhaut National Park. A hands-on experience that includes a zip wire into the gorge itself, travel with the current as you zigzag deep into the ravine – boulder jumping into freshwater pools and sliding down polished natural toboggans.
This activity is run & operated from Château d’Oex in the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland. Situated 1km from Montbovon in Gruyère Pays-d'Enhaut National Park, reaching Tine de Montbovon includes a transfer and a nature hike in and out of the canyon.
Meet your guide at the activity base in Château d’Oex for this canyoning excursion to Tine de Montbovon Gorge. More than just your average adventure, this route is renowned for its vertical zip line that plunges deep into the ravine! Starting with a short safety briefing and kit breakdown – learn the rope techniques and study the route you’ll be following with your experienced guide. After kitting up, you”ll be transferred to Montbovon where you’ll walk through a pre-historic grotto to reach the start of the gorge, following the flow of the river on a 2-hour descent. Unlike other gorges, La Tine is anything but ordinary. To get to the water below, you’ll have to slide down on a zip line – reaching the river with a splash! Picked up by the current, the flow of the water makes this canyon easy to navigate, swimming or just bobbing along and enjoying the views until you reach ‘The Rock’ a boulder jump into a freshwater pool, but don’t worry, your guide is on hand at all times – in fact, there are loads of opt-out areas too, making it a fun & accessible adventure for all ages & abilities!
