The TITCH skateboard school offers you skateboarding lessons in Geneva to introduce you to the sport or improve your skills no matter your age and level!
Come have an intro lesson to skateboarding at TITCH Geneva with experienced instructors! Skateboarding lessons are given by skaters with a very good practice of the discipline and even professionals.
Classes are in private and last 1 or 2 hours. They take place on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday in the Plainpalais skatepark, but the place can vary according to the demand, the day and the time of the year.
The skatepark of Plainpalais is intended for young people who practice skateboarding, rollerblading or BMX. It has an area of about 3000 m², making it one of the largest in Europe. It offers different ramps for beginner, intermediate or advanced skateboarders, including a bowl, a ditch which is a kind of long narrow canal and a street plaza.
If you are a beginner, you'll first learn to push forward, ride down your first ramp, balance on the board, etc. If you can already skate, you'll learn your first tricks, the ollie - a jump performed by tapping the tail of the board on the ground - and the pop shuvit, and also ride on transition. If you have already mastered the ollie, you will learn to grind - riding the curb, rail, or other surface using the trucks of the board.
