This exciting full-day rafting trip will take you to the Valais region in Switzerland. Against the backdrop of the impressive Stein Glacier and the legendary Pfyn Forest – once feared for its robbers, today one of Europe's last large pine forests – you will experience the river Rhône from a completely new perspective.
Get ready for an action-packed day trip and conquer descents and a series of rapids which range from class 2+ to 3+!
But first, you are going to meet your experienced and professional rafting guides at the starting point near the city of Susten. Here you will prepare and gear up for this thrilling whitewater activity. You will wear appropriate wind and waterproof clothing, a helmet and a personal flotation device – all in full compliance with the current regulation for whitewater sports. Safety first!
The wild ride on the river will take you 10 kilometres west to the capital of the Valais region, Sierre. You will spend roughly 2 hours on the water. This tour is perfectly suitable for large groups and families with children from 14-years old on. All participants need to be able to swim and be in a healthy condition. For your security, each raft will be accompanied and supervised by a professional and certified raft guide.
After the activity, the entire group will relax at the camp and end the day with a cosy BBQ.
