Activity description
This exciting canyoning activity takes through the beautiful gorges of the river Morge, an affluent of the Rhone. Get ready for crystal clear water, exciting jumps and thrilling slides near Sion.
First, you will meet your guide in Sierre where you will get equipped and instructed for this activity. You are going to wear a helmet, waterproof clothing and a personal flotation device, all in accordance with the current regulations for whitewater sports. Safety first!
Once you are ready to go, you will head to the starting point which is only 20 minutes from Sierre. For the next 3-4 hours, you will experience the Swiss alpine region from a completely new perspective. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and refreshing water basins to jump and slide into! When climbing down the stunning gorges you need to work as a team which makes this activity perfectly suited for groups and families with children. However, all participants should be able to swim, be in a healthy condition and are 14 years or older.
At the end of the tour, you will arrive by a peaceful forest – completely remote and normally inaccessible. Here you are enjoying the last hours of sun – before your guide will arrange the transfer back to the starting point.
Expect 5 hours for this activity of which you'll spend up to 4 hours in the Morge canyon.
