Activity description

Try it out like the locals and go on an "Aareböötle" tour! Experience a wonderful rafting tour on the crystal clear Aare from Thun to Bern. This is the perfect excursion to spend a relaxing and fun day with your family or friends!

All you need is a few friends to join you, a raft, a paddle and a life jacket. All the necessary equipment is provided and your belongings will stay dry during the trip in a waterproof bag. Simple but wonderful - you must try this experience.

Before you start, the instructors will brief you on the route and show you how to steer the raft on the water. Then you are ready to go down the river.

You can enjoy the rafting tour on the upper section of the Aare from Thun to Bern (3 hours). During the trip you can have a picnic by the river and take a break to cool off in the water.

It will be an unforgettable adventure on the river that you will experience with your family or friends!

The price applies to ONE RAFT that accommodates 4 people: 1 raft (4 people).

You start in Uttigen near Thun, just next to the train station Uttigen, and get off at the Camping Eichholz, near Bern. Approx. 2-3 hours on the water (without breaks).

You can choose any time for your rental and take breaks whenever you wish

All equipment must be returned at the Camping Eichholz at 6 pm maximum.

Participant must know how to swim.

Special terms

To return, simply disembark from the boat upon arrival, where someone will be present to assist you and provide guidance. Alternatively, you have the following options:

- Take a scenic walk of approximately 30 minutes to Bern Train Station. From there, you can board a train directly to the office located at Uttigen train station.

- If you prefer, you can extend your swim a bit further and then proceed with a 10-minute walk to reach the train station. This option combines a 10-minute swim followed by a 10-minute walk, leading you back to either Bern or Interlaken.

- Another possibility is to walk a short distance to Tram Station Wabern, which only takes a couple of minutes. The tram will then transport you to Bern Station.

Malgrès de la pluie sur le début du parcours, nous nous sommes vraiment bien amusés. Les paysages sont suberbes. Une activité vraiment agréable à faire (et à refaire) entre amis ou en famille.
