A full-throttle experience with new challenges hiding behind each bend in the road, rage through the exotic uplands that surround the spiritual town of Chiang Mai on this adventure quad biking journey. Push your limits as you bob and weave through the wild undergrowth, leaning out of your seat and testing the suspension on this truly off-piste course. Navigate mountain trails, dirt tracks and dense rainforest – slowing down for passing pachyderms on their way for an afternoon swim.

The activity base is situated in Chiang Mai Province, an ancient Lanna Kingdom renowned for its elaborate Buddhist temples, including  Wat Ban Den, Wat Phra Singh and Wat Chedi Luang. Bordering elephant conservation projects in the highlands, Mae Taeng is neighboured by national parks like Huai Nam Dang National Park.

Choose from three courses that increase in difficulty, opting for a family-friendly hour adventure (10km), two hours (20km) suited to confident beginners and an extreme 3-hour course (30km).  A unique off-road experience the explores the region’s diverse and sometimes challenging landscape, there will be plenty of opportunities to test your techniques as you mud slide in the jungle, max out your motor on steep inclines and teeter over sheer drops – all accompanied by jaw-dropping views. The best part? You might also need to cut your engine as the area’s elephants trundle through the overgrowth to reach their favourite watering holes!
