Chimp tracking in Kyambura Gorge & Nyungwe
Explore two unique locations with experienced local guides, looking for troops of chimpanzees in the dense canopy of the African undergrowth. Trek through stunning natural formations in the heart of the rainforest – witnessing these playful and curious primates in a truly natural setting. Besides the chimps, you may spot other primates including the Vervet Monkey, L’hoest, Blue Monkey, Red-Tailed Monkey, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Black And White Colobus Monkey and many more.
Game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park
One of the most popular activities in Africa, this wildlife safari covers both land and waterways allowing you to experience the natural life cycle of an area that covers 200 km of well-maintained game tracks and includes the Kazinga channel, too. During this once in a lifetime guided safari, you are likely to spot elephants, Buffalos, Uganda Kob and if you are lucky, you may also spot the Hyena, Lions, Leopard and perhaps the Giant Forest Hog. Hippopotamuses, Waterbucks, Crocodiles and a variety of Water Birds like the black bee-eater, several species of falcons and the raptors.
Gorilla tracking in Bwindi National Park & Volcanoes National Park
Travel in the footsteps of pioneering naturalists like Diane Fosset and meet the last remaining 600 mountain gorillas across two national parks – exploring the Virunga Mountains in Rwanda & Uganda. Accompanied by local guides, learn more about the importance of these gentle giants, spending a few precious hours in the company of silverback gorillas and their troop - understanding the challenges and rewards of protecting the true King of the Jungle.
This 12-day tour is full catered and includes 3 meals a day, porters, transport and mid-range accommodation (guest houses, jungle lodges, hotels) in Uguanda & Rwanda. All guides, park fees and game charges are included in the price of the trip – making it a great all-inclusive option.
This is an all-action adventure for anyone of moderate physical fitness. Guests should pack appropriately with hiking boots, warm layers and a good waterproof. A full kit list is supplied on booking.
